Athletic Club suffered a double blow: they lost Nico Williams to injury and fell to Valencia. The match ended 2-1 in favor of Valencia, with Nico’s injury a major concern for Spain coach Luis de la Fuente.
Mallorca and Villarreal shared a 1-1 draw at Son Moix. Villarreal took the lead through a penalty converted by Ayoze, but Muriqi equalized after a mistake from Villarreal goalkeeper Arnau, who later made crucial saves to keep the score level.
