Fast Network, the top-rated Hong Kong sprinter trained by C. Yip, is being considered for a potential run in the Sprinters Stakes (GⅠ, 1,200m turf) at Nakayama Racecourse on September 27. According to a report by the South China Morning Post on March 11, trainer Yip stated, “We are giving the horse a break now and want to look at overseas races, including Japan, early next season.”

The five-year-old gelding earned his first stakes victory in the GⅢ National Day Cup last October, finished third in the Hong Kong Sprint, and was fourth in the Chairman’s Sprint Prize, showing competitive form at the highest level. Hong Kong-trained horses have previously won the Sprinters Stakes twice, with Silent Witness in 2005 and Ultra Fantasy in 2010.
