Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants delivered a game-breaking two-run double in the seventh inning and added an infield single in the ninth, powering his team to a 6-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday at Dodger Stadium. The win extended San Francisco’s winning streak to three games.

Batting leadoff and playing right field, Lee started slowly with a flyout in the first, a groundout in the third, and a strikeout in the fifth. But with the Giants leading 4-2, two outs, and runners on first and second in the seventh, he ripped a double into the right-center gap, sealing the outcome. He then completed a multi-hit game with an infield single in the ninth, raising his season batting average from .268 to .272.

On the other side, Dodgers second baseman Kim Ha-seong struggled at the plate, going 0-for-4 with a strikeout, two groundouts, and a flyout caught by Lee in the seventh. His average dropped from .282 to .268. However, Kim stood out defensively, making a spectacular diving stop on a would-be hit by Bryce Eldridge in the eighth.

San Francisco’s lineup included Lee, second baseman Luis Arraez, third baseman Case Schmitt, designated hitter Rafael Devers, left fielder Elliott Ramos, shortstop Willi Adames, first baseman Bryce Eldridge, center fielder Harrison Bader, and catcher Jesus Rodriguez. Adrian Houser started on the mound. The Dodgers countered with designated hitter Shohei Ohtani, shortstop Mookie Betts, first baseman Freddie Freeman, right fielder Kyle Tucker, catcher Will Smith, third baseman Max Muncy, center fielder Andy Pages, left fielder Teoscar Hernandez, and Kim at second base, with Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the hill.

The Dodgers struck first in the opening inning when Will Smith’s sacrifice fly scored a run after Ohtani and Freeman singled and Tucker was hit by a pitch to load the bases. San Francisco tied it in the third on a solo homer by Haas. The Dodgers regained the lead in the bottom of the third on Ohtani’s solo shot to left—his first home run in 16 days—making it 2-1. The Giants answered in the fifth with back-to-back homers by Bader and Haas off Yamamoto for a 3-2 edge.

San Francisco added a run in the seventh on Gilbert’s infield single, and after Haas flied out, Lee delivered the decisive double. Houser earned the win, allowing two runs on three hits (one homer) with three walks and four strikeouts over 5⅔ innings. Haas led the offensive charge with back-to-back homers. Yamamoto took the loss, surrendering five runs on six hits (three homers) with eight strikeouts over 6⅓ innings. Ohtani finished 2-for-4 with a homer, an RBI, and two runs scored, signaling a return to form.
