On May 12, sports journalist Gu Ying from Tianjin Daily shared photos on social media showing Xie Weijun receiving a commemorative jersey from Tianjin Jinmen Tiger FC, honoring his 200th appearance for the club.
The milestone was reached on May 10 during the 11th round of the Chinese Super League, when Jinmen Tiger drew 1-1 away against Zhejiang FC. Xie Weijun came off the bench, marking his 200th official match for the team.
To celebrate the achievement, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger Football Club has also released a limited-edition commemorative scarf, with the slogan: “A hundred battles on the green pitch, the original heart remains unchanged! Pay tribute to the club’s legend and cherish your exclusive passion!”
