After the match, defender Liu Junshai was notably absent from the team’s photo gathering with fans. Taking to social media, Liu expressed his apologies: “I want to say sorry to the fans. I couldn’t hold it in after the game (had to go to the restroom).”
In his post, Liu wrote: “Making three points a habit, let’s keep fighting. For this city (Qingdao)!!!” He added, “Sorry to the fans, I couldn’t hold it in, so I missed the group photo with you. Thank you for your on-site support and cheers.”
