Xiamen extended their perfect start with a third straight win to lead the table. Fuzhou dominated Nanping with a 6-0 victory, while Zhangzhou claimed their first win on home soil. Ningde and Longyan played out the tournament’s first goalless draw.
**Ningde vs Longyan**
At Ningde’s home ground, both teams traded attacks with solid defense, but neither could break the deadlock. Ningde pushed forward repeatedly, but Longyan’s resilient backline held firm for a 0-0 result.
**Xiamen vs Quanzhou**
Xiamen fielded the same starting eleven as their opener. In the 23rd minute, Jiang Zeyuan (No.9) used his pace to break through Quanzhou’s defense and scored from a tight angle. In the 79th minute, he capitalized on a mistake, calmly rounded a defender, and slotted home for his second. Xiamen won 2-0 at home, keeping a clean sheet through three matches to sit top with nine points.
**Fuzhou vs Nanping**
Fuzhou were on fire at home, thrashing Nanping 6-0. They took the lead in the 4th minute through Mou Yiming (No.35). Wei Chengzhi (No.29) completed a hat-trick in the 57th, 67th, and 85th minutes – the first hat-trick of this year’s tournament.
**Zhangzhou vs Pingtan**
Both teams were winless in the first two rounds, making this a crucial clash. Zhangzhou got a dream start, scoring in the 2nd minute via Lu Cankun (No.7) – the club’s first-ever ‘Minchao’ goal and the fastest goal of the tournament. They added another late to secure a 4-1 home victory.
