Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has spoken candidly about his career plans as his contract enters its final stretch.
“I’m almost 38, but physically I feel great, so I’m keeping my options open. I have to consider that it’s time not just to play, but also to enjoy life. A move to a lower-tier league? That possibility exists, and I don’t rule it out. There are about 50 days left on my contract, so there’s still time to decide. I’ll listen to a few offers and then make my choice,” the Polish forward said in an interview, as quoted by AS.
“I appreciate where I am right now and I’m enjoying it. We’ll see what happens next, but one thing I can say for sure: I plan to keep playing,” Lewandowski added.
This season, the veteran striker has already helped Barcelona secure the Spanish league title. His future remains open as he weighs both competitive and lifestyle considerations, with several clubs likely to be interested in his services.
